Celebrating our Heritage with Libby Larsen

Winona Symphony Orchestra has commissioned internationally renowned Minnesota composer Libby Larsen to write a new piece for our orchestra and local baritone soloist Alan Dunbar that will premiere next October as a part of our annual fall concert. This will be WSO’s first ever commercial recording. This project celebrates not only our own history in Winona, but is distinctly Minnesotan in character. We seek to inspire our community to support us in creating this lasting recording as a legacy for our future that also celebrates our past.
